Its recipe can date back to 1888. Following the traditional sablé making method, the sablé cookies are crumbly and buttery. The brand also uses no preservatives or palm oil.

     

    The Pure Butter sablés are contained in a red square-shaped metal box embellished with the iconic Mont-Saint-Michel, the founder Annette Poulard, and the sablé itself.
