Distillerie Saint-Hilaire Organic Peppermint Essential Oil is 100% organic aromatherapy oil certified with the label AB*. French in origin, the essential oil has analgesic properties and is invigorating and stimulating. It can be applied directly to the skin:

helps with digestion (for intake, by diluting 1 drop in a glass of water with a solubilizer);

has antifungal, anti-itching, and anti-inflammatory propertiesthat help fight against lung and skin infections;

Organic Peppermint Essential Oil is certified non-GMO. In Distillerie Saint-Hilaire’s own distillery, the oil is extracted from the peppermint leaves of the “Digne-les-Bains” variety, which has the best qualities for the organic essential oil. Through steam distillation, the mobile liquid has a transparent to greenish yellow colour.

The essential oil can be used for diffusion or skin application. Its slightly peppered, herbaceous, minty, fresh odour harmonises with: basil, bergamot, cedar, lemon, eucalyptus, marjoram, orange, pine, rosemary, tea-tree, and thyme.

*An Organic Agriculture label that was created in France in 1985 that identifies products from organic farming.

Dosage:
1ml = 35 drops (1% dilution = 3 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil in 10ml of vegetable oil)

This Organic Peppermint Essential Oil can be used diluted or applied to the skin directly (do a test before).

Inhalation: 5 - 6 drops in a bowl of boiling water and inhale the steam for about 10 minutes.

Intake: mix 1 - 2 drops with neutral foods such as honey, bread, or rice balls, with a maximum of 10 drops per kg of food.

Skin application: 1 - 2 drops topically on the afflicted area.

Diffusion: mix 1 drop to 9 drops of a less "aggressive" essential oil (lemon, true lavender, etc.), then use 3 to 5 drops of the mixture in a diffuser.

Do not exceed 3 drops per day and per person, regardless of internal or external use.
Do not use more than 3 essential oils at the same time.

Do not use on pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Seek medical advice for children under 6.

Avoid using in case of epilepsy and are allergic to aromatic molecules.

Do not use continuously in diffusion.

Do not consume pure essential oils directly.

Avoid contact with eyes, ears or nose.

Avoid pure essential oil contact with skin (except mentioned in the usage tips).

Wash hands thoroughly with soap, after using for massages.
