Distillerie Saint-Hilaire Organic Lemon Zest Essential Oil is aromatherapy oil extracted from the lemons cultivated in Italy (where the hot and humid climate allows the lemons to be full of juice). Certified with the label AB*, the essential oil is Italian in origin and 100% organic. It helps defend the body against infection and is especially recommended to purify and freshen up the air. The essential oil:

is antiseptic and antibacterial, especially in atmospheric diffusion;
strengthens the digestive system and its acidity can stimulate your appetite;
helps you to stay in good mood and fights against fatigue;
eases feelings of nausea, motion sickness, difficult digestion, and vomiting;
promotes blood circulation, especially in case of rosacea;
helps with drainage by removing fat.

Organic Lemon Zest Essential Oil is certified non-GMO. In Distillerie Saint-Hilaire’s own distillery, the oil is extracted from the fresh pericarp of lemons. Through cold-press extraction, the mobile liquid has a clear light yellow to greenish yellow colour.

The essential oil, after diluted, can be used for diffusion to have the best of its effects or for skin application. Its fresh, sweet, and zesty odour harmonises with: tropical basil, lavender, patchouli, and ylang-ylang.

Dosage:
1ml = 35 drops (1% dilution = 3 drops of Lemon Zest Essential Oil in 10ml of vegetable oil)

This Organic Lemon Zest Essential Oil can only be used diluted.

Intake: mix 1 - 2 drops with neutral foods such as honey, bread, or rice balls, with a maximum of 10 drops per kg of food.

Skin application: mix 1 drop of the essential oil with 9 drops of vegetable oil (always diluted to 10% to avoid any irritating effects). Gently massage the area.

Diffusion: 5 - 10 drops in a diffuser.

Do not exceed 3 drops per day and per person, regardless of internal or external use.
Do not use more than 3 essential oils at the same time.

Do not use on pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Seek medical advice for children under 6.

Avoid using in case of epilepsy and are allergic to aromatic molecules.

Do not use continuously in diffusion.

Do not consume pure essential oils directly.

Avoid contact with eyes, ears or nose.

Avoid pure essential oil contact with skin (except mentioned in the usage tips).

Wash hands thoroughly with soap, after using for massages.
