Distillerie Saint-Hilaire Organic Lavender Essential Oil is 100% organic aromatherapy oil certified with the label AB*. French in origin, the essential oil has analgesic, soothing, and antiseptic properties that heal cuts and scratches. It can be applied directly to the skin:
- heals and soothe skin problems, including burns, wounds, and insect stings;
- has sedative and calming properties that can mitigate stress, anxiety, sleep disorder;
- has antispasmodic property to fight against involuntary muscle contractions;
- has antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties to fight against fungi, molds, and inflammation;
- has antiparasitic properties to repel certain protozoa and parasites, including lice and ticks.
Organic Lavender Essential Oil is certified non-GMO. In Distillerie Saint-Hilaire’s own distillery, the oil is extracted from the flower tops of lavender through steam distillation, resulting in clear, pale yellow to orange mobile liquid.
Pleasantly fragrant, it is ideal for diffusion or applying on the skin to have the best of its effects. Its rural, herbaceous, floral, fresh odour harmonises with: bergamot, camomile, lemon, lemongrass, geranium, mandarin, orange, palmarosa, patchouli, pine, rosemary, sage, thyme, and ylang-ylang.
