Wild Flower Honey is harvested by bees foraging in meadows in southeastern France collecting nectar from different uncultivated flowers. Its unique floral flavour (rich, relatively sweet but slightly more sour than Spring Honey) is characterised by a multitude of flowers from which the nectar is picked. It is in liquid or creamy state and has a light amber colour.
Honey is very nutritious. It is good for the skin and has healing properties through ingestion or topical application. Wildflower Honey, with its diverse nectar:
- treats digestive issues such as diarrhea;
- is a potent prebiotic, which facilitates the growth of the good bacteria (probiotics) that live in our intestines;
- is rich in antioxidants, which help fight against free radicals;
- has antibacterial and antifungal properties that can stop bacteria growth, heal wounds, and ease respiratory problems.
Wildflower Honey is ideal for light desserts, yogurt, and toast. It can also be used to make nougats, cakes, or cookies. Of course, you can mix a tablespoon of the Honey with warm water every morning to start your day in a healthy way.
